Seaford Memorial Day Ceremony May 30, 2022, 11:00 A.M. at Seaford Kiwanis Park
  
The Memorial Day Ceremony will be held on Monday, May 30, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at the Veterans’ Memorial in Kiwanis Park, Stein Highway and Atlanta Road, Seaford, sponsored by the Seaford Veterans Committee.  

The scheduled guest speaker for the Monday, May 30, 2022 event is Brian O'Day, an 18 year veteran and US Marine Corps officer and a 1999 Seaford High School graduate. 

There will be no Memorial Day Parade due the school bands not being available.

A salute and recognition will be paid to all military personnel past and present, as well as any Gold Star Mothers and families in attendance. 
 
If inclement weather is imminent, the ceremony will be held upstairs at the Seaford Fire Hall, Pine and King Sts. at 11:00 A.M.. There is an elevator available for those who need it.
At approximately 12:30 P.M., American Legion Post 6 (Log Cabin) on Front Street, Seaford, and at 1:00 P.M., VFW Post 4961 on Middleford Road, Seaford are both having open houses and will be providing lunch. 

On behalf of the Seaford Veterans Committee, consisting of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4961, American Legion Posts 6 and 37, AMVETS Post 1694, Marine Corps League Detachment 780 and Disabled American Veterans Chapter 9, the committee extends an invitation to the public to attend this event as the community memorializes and honors the service and sacrifices of all veterans who have or are serving this Country.
