Grass Ordinance to Start April 1st

Our Code Department would like to send a friendly reminder that our annual grass ordinance begins this Friday, April 1st! Please remember any vegetation over 10 inches tall is considered a violation, and if not cut, it can result in the vegetation being removed at the owner's expense. If an offense is committed, the City Manager or designee shall authorize, without further notice, the cutting, destroying and removal of all unregulated growth at the owner’s expense. You have five (5) days after receipt of a written notice or within ten (10) days of the mailing of such notice to correct the violation before the City will issue a work order to have the grass/vegetation cut at the property owner’s expense.
