Programs

Youth Basketball
Our youth basketball program is a partial instructional and competitive league for youth ages 6 - 13 to learn the basics of the game. This includes positions, dribbling, shooting, and learning plays. Registration begins in late October through November; practices are during the month of December and games begin in January.

Youth Wrestling 
Our youth wrestling program is for those interested in learning the sport of wrestling. This is an instructional clinic for ages 5 – 12 that is once a week November - January. Participants will learn about conditioning/stretching, proper positioning and moves including shooting, single-leg & double-leg takedowns, rear takedowns and more.

Youth Soccer 
Our soccer program is offered during the Fall & Spring seasons. This is an instructional program for ages 4 – 13. Each season is 8 weeks long with games played on weeknights or Saturday mornings. Participants will learn the fundamentals of the game which includes: positions, passing, receiving, and more. Registration for the Fall season begins in July with games starting in September. Registration for the spring begins in February with games starting in April.

Youth Tennis
Our youth tennis program is an instructional clinic that is offered during the summer months, one evening per week. The clinic is for ages 5 – 12 and during each week the participants will learns skills such as hitting, serving, rules of the game, and more.

Youth Field Hockey
Our youth field hockey program is an instructional clinic that is offered during the summer months, one evening per week. The clinic is for ages 5 – 12 and during each week the participants will learns skills such as defense, offense, ball control, and more.

Youth Flag Football  
Our youth basketball program is a partial instructional and competitive league for youth ages 6 - 13 to learn the basics of the game. This includes offensive positions, defensive positions, flag pulling, and more. Registration begins in late June through July; practices are during the month of August and games begin in September.

Adult Men’s Slow Pitch Softball  
Our slow pitch league is a competitive league for those who are 18 and older. Leagues are offered during Fall and Spring seasons and are sanctioned through USSSA.  

Adult Pickleball

Pickleball is a game that combines elements from tennis, badminton and ping-pong. This is a great family-friendly game that is very accessible to almost everyone, regardless of age or athletic ability. Pickleball is a racquet sport in which two to four players use a whiffle ball and composite paddles on a surface half the size of a tennis court with a net lowered to 34” in the center. It can be lots of fun for the experienced and non-experienced! From November through March pickleball is played indoors. There are indoor pickleball courts at the Western Sussex Boys & Girls Club located at 310 Virginia Ave, Seaford, DE 19973, phone: (302) 628-3789. From April through October pickleball is played outside. There are pickleball courts located behind Seaford High School, 399 N Market St, Seaford, DE 19973. The Seaford Pickleball Group meets on a frequent basis. Interested visitors and experienced players are encouraged to come. There are multiple courts to accommodate everyone! Youth Pickleball 
Our youth pickleball program is an instructional clinic that is offered during the spring months for a period of 4 weeks or 8 weeks, one evening per week. This is our newest clinic! The clinic is for ages 6 – 12, and during each week the participants will learn skills such as hand/eye coordination using a paddle, focus on the ball, and control when hitting the ball with an underhand and forehand motion. The clinic will be held at the Seaford High School Tennis Courts.
