The Seaford Police Department welcomed the community to their annual Seaford Night Out on Thursday, October 8th, for an evening of fun, connection, and crime and drug prevention.
During the event, the community was able to enjoy a variety of vendors, live music, hamburgers and hotdogs, interactive games, and more. Attendees also had a special visit from McGruff the Crime Dog, who helped share the importance of crime prevention and community safety.
Seaford Night Out provides an opportunity for residents, local organizers, and community partners to come together, build relationships, and strengthen the relationship between law enforcement and the community it serves.
The City of Seaford and the Seaford Police Department want to give a special thank you to Seaford Walmart for donating bicycles and providing sodas and water, Western Sussex Boys & Girls Club for donating food, tables, and chairs, and Lord Brother and Higgins for donating additional supplies.
Another thank you to Delaware Probation and Parole, D.A.T.E, Delaware State Police, DelDOT, Pittsville Motors, Carey's Towing, Delmar Police Department, Seaford School District, Seaford Volunteer Fire Department, and all of the vendors for helping make this event possible.
Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make Seaford Night Out a success. The Seaford Police Department is grateful for the continued support of its community and the partnerships that make events like this possible.
