New Flagpole Honors Freedom and Service

On Thursday, August 13th, a new flagpole was installed overlooking Oyster House Park and the Nanticoke River.
The flagpole and flag were generously donated by Randall Larrimore in honor of 250 years of freedom in America and in memory of his stepbrother, Doug Smarte, who served our country in Vietnam.
The City of Seaford is honored to be a part of this special remembrance and look forward to the continued growth and development of the area as we work to create a space that can be enjoyed by our community for years to come.
Thank you, Randall, for your thoughtful donation and steadfast commitment to Oyster House Park, as well as providing a lasting tribute to Doug and to all those who have served our country!
You can view the new flagpole south of 121 S. Conwell Street.
