On Friday, August 14th, 2026, the City of Seaford proudly honored State Representative Danny Short with a Mayoral Proclamation recognizing his many years of service and dedication to the community and beyond.
Friends, family, City Council and staff, and members of the community gathered in Council Chambers to celebrate Danny and his commitment to the betterment of Seaford.
The celebration included heartfelt remarks from Michael Vincent, Representative Tim Dukes, and Senator Brian Pettyjohn, who shared reflections on Danny's years of service, his impact on the community, and the many people whose lives he has touched throughout his career.
The City extends its congratulations to Representative Danny Short on this well-deserved recognition and thanks him for his continued service to the community.
