The City of Seaford invites the community to attend the official opening of the City's Time Capsule, a historic capsule dedicated and sealed on July 4th, 1976.
After 50 years of preservation, the capsule will be opened during a public ceremony on Tuesday, July 7th, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. on the front steps of City Hall, located at 414 High Street.
The opening ceremony will provide an opportunity for members of the community to gather and reflect on Seaford's history.
The Mayor, Council, and City Staff look forward to this grand occasion.
