Sewer System Inspection Notice (April 20th - May 20th, 2026)

The City has retained a contractor to inspect selected sewer mains using closed‑circuit television (CCTV) equipment. They will be performing this inspection beginning April 20th through May 20th, Monday – Friday 7am-4pm; work is weather dependent.

Jay's Nest Playground Closed for Demo

On March 10th, 2026, the Seaford City Council voted to close Jay's Nest Playground due to safety concerns. The City is moving forward with plans to demolish the existing structure and construct a new playground for the community.

Portions of Jays Nest Playground Temporarily Closed

The safety of our residents—especially our youngest ones—always comes first. After a recent assessment of the community-built playground, we’ve identified several areas that need attention to ensure it remains a safe and welcoming place for everyone. For this reason, portions of the Jay's Nest Playground will be temporarily closed while we evaluate the safest path forward.
