Seaford Hometown Heroes On Display

Seaford's Past & Present Heroes Come to Downtown
Posted on 08/25/2021
Some Hometown Heroes arrived August 25th in downtown Seaford! 21 Seaford Hometown Heroes banners were hung along High Street. These banners were made possible through Carson Hastings, President of the Delaware Children of the American Revolution and his fundraising efforts. The banners will be hung from now until Veteran’s day and will go back up before Memorial Day in 2022. The location of each banner is listed below with the hero. We are thankful for the sacrifices of our hometown heroes and are excited to honor them throughout town. A special shout-out to our Seaford Electric Department for hanging these banners so quickly in the heat! We appreciate everything that they do. There is still limited availability for a banner! Fill out the application found here or at City Hall, and email it attached with a photograph in uniform to seafordheroes@gmail.com.
