To apply for a position with the City of Seaford, please fill out the appropriate application for the position you are applying for. There are two different applications. One for any position within the Police Department and the other is for any other City position. Applications must be filled out in full. If submitting a resume, an application is still required. All applications for positions other than the police department should be submitted to City Hall, 414 High Street, Seaford, DE 19973 or they can be faxed to 302-629-9307.

Police Officer-Patrolman

$50,814.40 STARTING SALARY

Become a full time officer with benefits - health and life insurance, pension, vacation, holiday pay and overtime. This is an Entry-level position and shift work is required. Candidates must be able to successfully pass a written exam, fitness agility, psychological screening, polygraph exam, medical exam and drug screen. High school diploma required. Code Inspector - Part-Time

Part-time employment available.  Completion of a six month probationary period is required.  Normal working hours will vary with a maximum working allowance of 29 hours per week. Applicants are expected to have excellent oral and written communications with the public, elected officials, management, and fellow employees. Marketing Assistant
