To apply for a position with the City of Seaford, please fill out the appropriate application for the position you are applying for. There are two different applications. One for any position within the Police Department and the other is for any other City position. Applications must be filled out in full. If submitting a resume, an application is still required. All applications for positions other than the police department should be submitted to City Hall, 414 High Street, Seaford, DE 19973 or they can be faxed to 302-629-9307.

EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES
Dispatcher

The City of Seaford is currently seeking part time and/or full-time dispatchers.


Dispatcher: Full time employment with benefits - health and life insurance, pension,
and vacation. This is an entry-level position and shift work is expected. Applicants that are certified in in Emergency Medical Dispatch-EMD, Emergency Fire Dispatch-EFD, and Emergency Police Dispatch-EPD will be given first consideration. Candidates must be able to successfully pass a written examination, medical exam, and drug screen. High School diploma required. NO CRIMINAL RECORD. Pay is $16.42 per hour or $34,153.60 annually.


Dispatcher: Part time employment without benefits - maximum of 29 hours per week. Applicants must be certified in in Emergency Medical Dispatch-EMD, Emergency Fire Dispatch-EFD, and Emergency Police Dispatch-EPD. Candidates must be able to successfully pass a written examination, medical exam, and drug screen. High School diploma required. NO CRIMINAL RECORD. Pay is $16.42 per hour.
